We had a fun week all around!! John is really enjoying school now that he knows what to expect. In the picture below, you can see he wasn't so sure on his first day last Monday. He has the most amazing teachers and classmates! What a gift that there are caring people out there who feel called to work with children like John.
The boys also got to go on several walks with Daddy.
Next time we will take a more scenic picture. :)
And here they are BOTH sitting like big boys watching a video. John sat in that chair for at least ten minutes all by himself!! WOW! We had plenty of pillows around in case he fell out plus parental supervision, of course.
Last but definitely the highlight of John's week was his play date with his buddy, Noah! They just love each other and seem to understand one another; it is precious.
Noah made a "big pillow pile up" for them to jump in. John loved being thrown on it and watching Noah jump. Then they had some buddy time lounging on their fabulous creation!
Praying you have a renewing weekend. Thank you for your prayers for our family during this 19 day period leading up to February 8th, when we celebrate and mourn sweet Warren's life on earth. We know you, like us, are learning how to navigate life and loss that is always intertwined.
Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him... Therefore encourage one another with these words.
